Lucia Nobili graduated in Biology and is working as an haematological research and diagnostic biologist at the Laboratory for Molecular Biology, University of Milan, Department of Medical Sciences.

She began her studies in Yang Style Taiji Quan (Tai Chi Chuan) and Qi Gong (Chi Kung) at one of the L.E.S Ufficio Tempo Libero courses, led  by Gianpiero Farina. 
She continued her study in those disciplines, always with Gianpiero Farina, regularly taking part to collective lessons and seminars on Traditional Yang Style Long Hand Form, Qi Gong and Tui Shou. More recently she's started one-to-one tuition with Gianpiero Farina to further improve her proficiency and practice.

In 2006 she started collective lessons for the study and practice of the Traditional Yang Style Sword Form with Gianpiero Farina.

Also, since 2006, she has been attending to all seminars run in Modena by the Oriental Disciplines Area (ADO) of UISP.

In 2009 she's awarded the titles of Sport Education Technician and Taiji Quan Instructor by ADO-UISP.
